At NEOEx Systems, we are working on an Energy and Power System and a Liquid Hydrogen Refueling System, which will revolutionize drone transportation by providing energy and power for longer duration and range operations. We work closely with UAV manufacturers to integrate our energy and power system into their vehicles to increase flight duration.
As we continue to grow, we need help, and we are looking for an Information Systems Intern to help support our team. As an Information Systems Intern, you will assist with troubleshooting, website development and maintenance, developing and maintaining tools, and conducting software investigations. An ideal candidate would be available to work Monday through Friday, 10 - 20 hours a week.

This role will report to the Business Operations & Development Analyst.

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain tools built on Power Platform
  • Troubleshoot Level 1 IT issues (i.e. password resets, M365 user support, peripheral connection issues)
  • Analyze cybersecurity log data and assist in developing security reports
  • Identify, analyze, and develop mitigation or remediation actions for system and network vulnerabilities
  • Assist in software investigation and deployment
  • Conduct website development and website maintenance activities
  • Identify and implement data management systems that support corporate operations
  • Conduct independent market & technical research
    Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science from an accredited college/university
  • Ability to clearly communicate both orally and in written communication to individuals or groups in the English language
  • Experience using video teleconferencing applications (i.e. Zoom or Teams)
  • Ability to hear audible alarms
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Fundamental understanding of cloud computing
  • Experience in Power Platform Development
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies
  • Experience writing code and conducting computer programming
  • Experience maintaining and accessing confidential information
  • Experience working in a remote setting is preferred
  • Must be located in the EST and within 30 miles of Elyria, OH
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

At NEOEx Systems, we are working on an Energy and Power System and a Liquid Hydrogen Refueling System, which will revolutionize drone transportation by providing energy and power for longer duration and range operations. We work closely with UAV manufacturers to integrate our energy and power system into their vehicles to increase flight duration.   

As we continue to grow, we need help, and we are looking for a mechanical engineering intern to support the development of electric vehicles using analytical and experimental skills to support company research and product development activities. An ideal candidate would be available to work Monday through Friday, 10- 40 hours a week at our Elyria, OH location.   

This role will report to the company’s President. 

Duties: 

  • Conduct mechanical engineering calculations and analysis to solve problems 
  • Conduct CAD solid model development using SolidWorks 
  • Conduct independent technical research 
  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of mechanical and electrical systems 
  • Develop experimental test requirements documents 
  • Assist in the conducting of test experiments and document results 
  • Produce written technical reports 
  • Present oral technical presentations 
  • Support general office and shop operations 

Qualifications: 

  • Current enrollment in an accredited school to obtain an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering 
  • Experience in using SolidWorks 
  • Ability to speak and write proficiently in the English language  
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and a multi-meter 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent 
  • Experience using video teleconferencing applications (i.e. Zoom or Teams)  
  • Experience in computer programming 
  • Experience in CAD solid modeling 
  • Ability to hear audible alarms 
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently  
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

NEOEx Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated PhD Physicist with expertise in quantum systems research and electrical engineering to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have experience in both fields and be able to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) for new opportunities.  The candidate will work with other internal engineers and external stakeholders to support the companies research and development efforts towards quantum and electrical systems.  

Duties:  

  • Conduct research and development in the field of quantum systems with a focus on electrical systems integration.  
  • Serve as Principal Investigator (PI) for new opportunities in the field of quantum systems research and electrical engineering.  
  • Collaborate with internal design and engineering teams to develop and operate electrical systems.  
  • Use CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to model new electrical system designs and produce detailed engineering drawings.  
  • Apply electrical engineering integration knowledge to create controlled design documentation including but not limited to Design Requirements, Design Documentation, P&IDs, Test Requirements Documents, Component Test Plans, Design Review Packages, Hazards Analyses, and Operational Check Sheets.  
  • Participate in design reviews.  
  • Assist as necessary in the fabrication, assembly, and integration of electrical systems.  
  • Conduct component, subsystem, and system test experiments and document results.  
  • Test and conduct on-site commission of electrical systems. 
  • Prepare project deliverables including written statements of work, technical reports, status reports, and budgets.  
  • Present oral technical presentations.  
  • Travel to other NEOEx facilities as necessary. 
  • Conduct other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:  

  • Must be self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills. 
  • Must be able to use good judgement and common sense to make numerous daily decisions. 
  • Must be able to reorder priorities in accordance with changing work conditions and customer. 
  • Must be able to speak and write proficiently in the English language.
