Elyria, Ohio – NEOEx Systems, Inc. (NEOEx) announces the start of their United States Air Force Research Laboratory Agility Prime Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) research contract award to develop the NEOEx EXTENDTM Energy and Power System and associated infrastructure for dual use support of military and commercial flying cars. Team members consist of The Ohio State University, Ohio Drone, Moran Innovation, and Lead Off The X. NEOEx President and CEO, Mark Haberbusch, says, “I am excited to get started with our team to help our customers understand how hydrogen provides new mission capabilities by extending the flight duration of electric flying cars and drones by 20x over batteries and that hydrogen can be part of a microgrid energy storage support structure for base operations”.
Support of the $150k United States Air Force STTR Phase 1 contract is sponsored by AFWERX and AFVentures. NEOEx is conducting their work at their operations facility located at the Lorain County Regional Airport in Elyria, Ohio with support from MRK Aviation, Inc.
