Project Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Environment: On-Site 

Salary: $70,000-110,000 based on experience & education

At NEOEx Systems, we are working on an Energy and Power System and a Liquid Hydrogen Refueling System, which will revolutionize drone transportation by providing energy and power for longer duration and range operations. We work closely with UAV manufacturers to integrate our energy and power system into their vehicles to increase flight duration.  

As we continue to grow, we need help, and we are looking for looking for a skilled and reliable Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing multiple project deliverables, organizing tasks, working with sub-contractors, suppliers and customers while supporting day-to-day operations.  This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for project management in the growing industries of air mobility and energy. 

This role will report to the Sr. Director of Operations.

Duties:

• Lead multiple end-to-end strategic projects simultaneously
• Use Microsoft project and other Office tools to plan, track, and coordinate project activities.
• Leverage internal NEOEx Systems, Inc. development process including progress reporting tools.  Responsible for assuring process discipline within project teams.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules.
• Proactively identify and manage risks by working with engineering team on mitigation strategies.  Report and escalate as necessary using risk management tools.
• Ensure tasks, deliverables, and milestones are appropriately resourced and completed.
• Effectively manage change (scope, schedule, cost) and communicate to stakeholders and customers.
• Manage meetings, milestone reviews and other activities both internal and external.
• Foster collaboration and communication among team members.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor procurements including equipment tracking and assist in managing external vendors to meet lead times.
• Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and apply lessons learned to future projects.
• Contribute to written reports on a regular basis to customers on project schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, business, project management, or related field is required
• PMI PMP certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management

Experience: 

• Experience in a fast paced, highly technical, product development environment
• Experience with project management software (MS Project or Primavera)
• Experience with risk management and quality assurance control
• Demonstrated ability in the use of project management toolset (scope, schedules, budgets, reports, risk management, updates)
• Proven ability to manage internal and external development teams and partners, driving decisions, and meeting product requirements
• Experience working with govt contracts a plus
